Its never to early to start thinking about Christmas and New Year; how you are going to celebrate it and who you are celebrating it with.

Rookley Country Park can offer you a relaxing break in our 5 star beautiful bungalows over the Christmas and New Year period starting from a very reasonable £250.00 for 4 persons sharing.

You will receive free entry into our Christmas entertainments programme (excluding New Years Eve)

Spend Christmas day in our luxurious restaurant and have some one else doing the cooking. We are serving a fantastic 5 course Christmas day luncheon from 12 noon until 3pm for just £39.50 per adult, £25.00 per children. Booking is compulsory.

New Years Eve tickets are just £23.50 per person which will entitle you to a 3 course sit down buffet in our restaurant, plus entry into our Midnight bar where the entertainment will begin at 9pm and will continue into the small hours of January 1st 2012!!!!

School's Out!

As schools across the country break up for the Summer holidays, the sun has been shining on the Isle of Wight this weekend making for a perfect start to our guest's stay.

With a good forecast for the week ahead, our first firework display on the season is on track and is sure to be spectacular when crowds gather around the lakeside on Friday evening - Be sure to check back for photographs!

Last week saw the introduction of our short breaks for the summer period, which has been very popular with our guests. Check back on the website for further special offers throughout the year.

Children's favourite David Randini has been entertaining during our Kid's club this week and has proved to be popular with children (and adults!) of all ages. Over the next 6 weeks a variety of children's entertainers will be appearing in the Midnight Bar at Rookley Country Park.

Good morning everyone, we are very lucky to have beautiful sunshine on the IOW today, looking out of the office window it looks like a summers day out there!!
We are very excited to be holding a birthday party celebration in our Midnight bar tonight, looking forward to greeting all those wonderful guests with a glass of bubbly. Our chef's are busy preparing a fantastic BBQ style buffet with profiteroles and cheesecake for desserts....yum yum

On Sunday afternoon 27th November 2011 we launched our very first Christmas and Bridal fayre in one and what a successful day it was.

With a fantastic bridal catwalk show by Beautiful Brides IOW Ltd, an informative professional make up demonstration by Harmony Beauty and opening the event was Elizabeth Traille with her breath taking opera singing. What a day it was to enjoy.

With over 40 exhibitors showcasing their amazing talents, skills and company ideas; we had everything under one roof for you to be able to plan your dream wedding day and do a little bit of Christmas shopping on the side without the hussle and bussle of the high street.

We ran our delicious Sunday carvery in our restaurant, which was enjoyed by many guests who came to our fayre. But as a little treat to them all we also had free canape tasters of the scrumptious food our head chef creates and prepares on a daily basis. He really has a talent worth gold! He can create simple but effect food for young children right up to dishes for the more mature palate. Too book a table in our lakeside restaurant please call 01983 721800.

Whilst the delightful opera singer welcomed all our guests to the fayre, we had a band playing softly in our bar and restaurant area while people dined and browsed over the Christmas gift stalls. They amazed our in house entertainments team so much with their versatility that its looking like they will be booked as part of our entertainments programme in 2012!

Having a great half term here at Rookley, the sun is shining, we have got a magician in entertaining the children and are excited to see all of there tricks. Well, we have all our decorations and garlands hanging, our real fir Christmas trees are looking great with their twinkling lights and shiny baubles at Rookley Country Park.

We have had really fabulous nights hosting business Christmas party nights including a delicious 4 course meal and disco in our Midnight bar. Saturday 17th December we managed 142 covers and it went ever so smoothly. Everyone had a great time and the Christmas spirit certainly has arrived here.

We still have some bungalows available for the Christmas and New Year period at our Rookley Country Park and Island View Holiday Parks. They are going fast so be quick if you would like to enjoy a relaxing break away in our home from home stunning bungalows.

Our head chef and his fantastic team are now preparing for our beautiful Christmas 5 course lunch. What a lovely week it has been on the Isle of Wight! Guests from across all of our parks have been heading to the seaside this week to soak up the sun in 26 degree+ heat and to enjoy the treats that the Island has to offer.

With Island View, Bay Close Court, Field Lane and Hillgrove all within walking distance of the beach (and Rookley Country Park only a short drive away), our sites offer truly fabulous locations suitable for all.

The Island is in full swing with only days to go until the infamous Cowes Week (6-14th August). Be sure to catch the action from Egypt Point and bask in the atmosphere that makes the Island such a wonderful place.
